Iris Verena Barth is a musicologist and holds a PhD from Gothenburg University. She has been working at Ringve Music Museum since 2016. Her work includes research, exhibition planning and collection management. She has been project manager for an exhibition about sami music Juoigat (2017-2018) and for Lost Voices (2023-2024), a sound installation by sound artist Jana Winderen in cooperation with Tony Myatt.

Her research interests comprise brass instruments, music and gender and music sociology.

Iris Verena is head of safety representatives at Museene i Sør-Trøndelag.
